=== Economic system and distribution === The U.S. has a libertarian economic system with very little market restrictions and zero taxes. Despite that, the nation is a welfare state, as a lot of the wealth is state-owned and there is a lot of economic output by the federal government. As of July 15th 2023, over half of the nation's wealth was owned by citizens of New York, with Texas and California following behind after seeing a huge economic boom. Illinois endured a massive drop in economy size as the leadership spent tens of thousands on expanding their claim.<blockquote>'''July 2023''' 1 New York - ~$410,000 2 Texas - $126,900 3 California - $76,000 4 Illinois - ~$67,000 5 Virginia - ~$40,000 6 Michigan - $39,400 7 WashingtonDC - $8,196 8 Pennsylvania - $2,452</blockquote>Historically, the U.S. economy was predominantly comprised of privately owned companies. An economic calculation personally conducted by the U.S. government in November of 2021 determined that the nation had roughly $130,732 in wealth, out of which 50.1% was owned by private companies. Inequality was high, with 72% of all wealth located in New York. FatAmerican alone owned 31% of all wealth, while the net worth of the entire New York government added up to only 22.6%. The share was followed by Bobby at 11.7% and Seal at 7.3%. However, following the beginning of the economic boom in June 2022 and the introduction of new economic policies, the situation started to change. In May 2023 the share of New York's wealth dropped to 62%, and in July it stood at only 50.1%.<blockquote>'''May 2023''' 1 New York - $403,014 2 Illinois - $95,966 3 Texas - $77,823 4 Virginia - $39,414 5 Michigan - $33,074 6 Pennsylvania - $7,095 7 California - $2,597</blockquote>Today, the U.S. federal government has a vast welfare network for its citizens. The NYC Wealth Fund created by the government in 2023 funds salaries, stimulus checks, and ensures constant free food, tools, clothes, vehicles and healthcare for all citizens in its jurisdiction (New York, Pennsylvania, California, Texas). At its peak, the federal government had a budget of over $200,000 in plain cash. The nation spent over $60,000 on expanding the claims in Texas in Virginia, with another $40,000 spent by Illinois leader Disqsted on Californian and Illinois claim expansions.
