United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States, is a country primarily located in North America. It consists of seven states (New York, Virginia, Texas, Michigan, California, Illinois, and Pennsylvania), one federal district (D.C.), and two overseas territories (Portugal and New Zealand). It borders Canada to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Mexico in the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

The U.S. is a constitutional parliamentary democracy, with presidential and senate elections happening every 90 days. As of August 2023, it's the second most populous country in the world, with a population of 65.

The national capital of the United States is Washington, D.C., and its most populous city and principal financial center is New York. The largest state by land area is Illinois.

The country is a founding member of the Atlantic Economic Union, the Cross-Atlantic Union, and the VinterKnox Agreement.

History

Beginnings (Early S2)

The eastern coast of the United States has been inhabited since the beginning of S2. European settlers (mostly Norwegians) left Europe in S2 in order to form a brand new nation. On 23 October 2020 settlers AndrejFish, Ataru, Sugaravel and ObamaStoleYourVisa officially founded the city of New York, proclaiming the establishment of the New York Republic. However, this was only the official date of creation, as the de facto formation of the New York Republic happened all the way back on September 16th[2]. Despite not being an official country yet, on September 17th the NYR formed the Cross-Atlantic Union with the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Serbia and the Netherlands.

The prospect of a new life and the heavily successful development of New York in its early days led to heavy migration, and immediately turned the NYR into one of the most highly populated nations in the world.

Oregon was the second major nation to form in continental America. Ever since its foundation by StunningMuffin, they discussed potential alliances with the NYR. However, at the time, the distance between the two states was too vast for any reasonable trade routes and roads to be formed, and so around November 9th the settlers from Oregon migrated to Pennsylvania, forming the city of Salem (modern-day Pittsburgh).

On November 14th, NYR and Oregon formally unified, with AndrejFish and StunningMuffin announcing the formation of the United States.

Early Era

By December 2020 the NYR (and later on, the United States) had become one of the three leading global powers, alongside the UASR and Serbia. On multiple occasions, it was leading the leaderboard in economy size, population size, territory size and city development.

Heavy technological advancements were made in New York at this time. During this period, NYC experienced significant strides in structural advancements, albeit at a slower pace compared to some major cities like Moscow and Lisbon. However, the city's development was marked by the creation of highly urbanized and superior-quality buildings. The now-iconic Federal Street became a prominent subject in numerous historical screenshots, featuring the world's first bank, cafe, hotel, and a neighborhood filled with modern several-story buildings, which was the first of its kind. The first-ever road connecting two sovereign states was also created shortly after, that being the highway between New York and Pennsylvania.

Another achievement was the creation of the first drill and the first successful extraction of oil. The nation's very first private company, Delta Corps, discovered several new plants and animals, including bamboo, kelp, cocoa beans, pandas, parrots, ocelots and arctic foxes. At the time, finding these in the wild was nearly impossible, bringing a significant profit to private entrepreneurs.

Tensions between the United States and the Union of Arstotzkan Socialist Republics (UASR) arose shortly after. The history of conflicts between Norway and the UASR during S1 further added to mutual distrust between the two nations, leaving both sides eager for a resolution. Immediately after the establishment of the UN, reports surfaced about Arstotzkan citizens playfully mocking Americans[3], leading to an argument in the United Nations. There were also reports of Americans doing the same. Such incidents slowly reignited animosity and hostility among both sides, leading to heavy toxicity in the future.

Despite being good military allies and members of the Cross-Atlantic Union, Serbia and the U.S. found themselves engaged in intense economic competition. Serbia's large-scale selling of commodities like wheat and gold contributed to global inflation and adversely impacted the American economy. Additionally, an arms race between the UASR and Serbia prompted the UASR and the U.S. to forge an alliance to counter Serbia's economic influence. Furthermore, a fascist group joined Serbia (until they were kicked by Toni after finding out they were fascist), which saw Arstotzka and America ally against Serbia until the problem was solved. On 11 November 2020, the NYR, the UASR, and Portugal established a trade and development alliance named the NAP Alliance (New York-Arstotzka-Portugal). However, it later came to light that Arstotzka had been covertly allied with Serbia all along[4], sharing sensitive information from the alliance. This revelation was viewed by the American government as a "betrayal", resulting in a significant deterioration of relations between New York and the UASR. The NAP Alliance was consequently dissolved in February 2021.

Beginning of S3

Following the beginning of S3 in 2021, the U.S. started to see significant territorial expansion. The U.S. decided to heavily cooperate with Serbia again as relations between the U.S. and the UASR deteriorated, due to factors such as ideological disagreements, toxicity, and competition in both economy and military. Many practice raids were held between Serbia (later America) and the UASR, which was used as an effective propaganda tool showcasing each side's military might. Tensions escalated, and rumors circulated that the UASR had plans to invade Serbia in late December, further fueling distrust between the two blocs[5]. Distrust among the American top-ranking officials also continued due to the first Arstotzko-Serbian invasion of Turkey, which the U.S. strongly condemned.

Amidst internal turmoil within Serbia, Serbian co-leader Luka made the decision to peacefully secede from the nation and declare independence. This move led to a significant exodus of Serbian citizens, dissatisfied with the leadership of the Serbian leader Toni and seeking a better life. On January 16th, this breakaway group migrated north, proclaiming itself as Northern Italy and leaving Toni isolated. To make matters worse, Northern Italy signed a military agreement with the UASR[6], which Americans and Serbians alike viewed as a danger to CAU's safety.

The departure of Northern Italy dealt a devastating blow to Toni who believed that Serbia had fallen. In the aftermath, U.S. President AndrejFish managed to convince Toni to move to America instead, and two days later, Toni made the decision to immigrate to what he considered to be his greatest ally - the United States. On January 18th, Toni and his remaining citizens announced the formation of Virginia, which became the third American state. This move marked a moment of optimism for the U.S. as the unification of two former global powers solidified its position as a superpower on the global stage.

The federal district of Washington (District of Columbia) was also created shortly after, as a middle ground between New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. It became the official administrative and political capital of the United States, and it also managed to become its own separate claim.

In mid-February, tensions further escalated as American and Arstotzkan officials alike started to verbally attack one another, insulting each others' level of development. Many Americans also accused the UASR of purposefully creating colonies (which was illegal under UN rules), although this was repeatedly declared as untrue by both U.S. President AndrejFish and the Admin team. Despite minor attempts by Proto and Andrej to de-escalate tensions and solve them diplomatically[7], ultimately it didn't work. American sympathy towards Turkestan in the First Turkestan War only made matters worse, as the UASR viewed it as America allying terrorists.

On 4th March 2021, LordNikster founded Texas, which unified with the U.S. and became its fourth state. It had separate rights from other American states and became a de facto autonomous region. However, a few weeks later, Nikster decided to leave America after all, but was forced to surrender Texas to the American authorities due to being in heavy debt. In order to be able to fund its development, Nikster took a massive loan from the NYC Central Bank, which he was unable to pay off. He instead agreed to hand over the claim as payment, and Texas officially became a regular American state. MatthewTheSecond from former Prussia became the Texan leader instead.

In June, Northern Italy expressed a desire to disassociate itself from Europe and initiated discussions with U.S. President AndrejFish to relocate to America. This plan was realized on 23 June 2021, when Northern Italy disbanded and its citizens migrated to the USA, establishing the state of Michigan as the fifth American state. This reunion brought together Toni and Luka once again, this time under the American banner. On 7 July 2021, California joined the union and became America's sixth state.

In June 2021, the U.S. underwent a significant transformation as AndrejFish resigned from his position. The nation officially transitioned into a democracy, and on June 25th, the nation held its first-ever Senate elections, allowing citizens to participate in the democratic process and elect their own representatives. A month later, on July 16th, the first presidential elections were conducted, marking a historic event for the country. On 20 July 2021, Toni became the first-ever democratically elected president within the USA, which marked a pivotal moment in the nation's political history, as it embraced democratic principles and paved the way for further civic engagement and participation of its citizens.

This is also the period when the U.S. got its first colonies. On July 9th, after the United Kingdom and Lithuania won the war against Portugal, Portuguese leader GOODUH decided to abdicate from his position and instead handed the Lisbon claim over to America. Portugal has become an American protectorate colony ever since, with Lacute as its leader.

On June 29th, Japan decided to unify with the U.S. as well, after a discussion with U.S. diplomat ThatRandomSeal (who volunteered to help create the nation in its past). As a result, Japan and its colony of New Zealand officially became American territories. This lasted until October 17th when Japan peacefully declared independence from the USA, however, New Zealand is still owned by America to this day.

The U.S. was involved in several major wars in this period, including the Second Turkestan War, the New Zealand War, the Greece War, the Sweden War, and the Anticosti-California War.

TCP Era

The situation between the U.S. and UASR became increasingly complex. After the cooperation between the U.S. and Arstotzka in wars against the Turkmen, relations between the West and Arstotzka - along with Northern Italy - improved significantly. This led to their inclusion in the Cross-Atlantic Union (CAU) on March 9th, which was major news at the time and brought a period of stability. However, on May 9th, 2021, the formation of the Atlantic Economic Union saw Arstotzka excluded from this new economic alliance. Arstotzkan officials perceived this as another attempt from the west to isolate and group up against the UASR, even leading to some Arstotzkan officials to suspect Americans of plotting and spying.[8] This series of events, including Northern Italy's decision to join the U.S., was met with mixed reactions among Arstotzkans. Some viewed it as a betrayal, further complicating the relations between the involved parties.

American involvement in the Swedish-Yugoslav war in August of 2021 saw Arstotzkans and Swedes defeated by American volunteers, making matters even worse. Dudili, the leader of Sweden, decided to unify with the UASR shortly after.

On May 24th, 2021, the UASR established its own developmental union called the Transcontinental Pact (TCP). Founding members included Brazil, Denmark, Portugal, and Japan; while the Kingdom of Arabia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, and Pontus joined later. The creation of the TCP was viewed by the west to be yet another betrayal, since Pontus and Brazil used to be former adversaries of both Arstotzka and America.

In the ensuing months, a culmination of developmental rivalries, ideological differences, and long-standing toxicity led to a full-fledged cold war between the TCP and AEU. Both sides openly actively displayed hostility towards each other, engaging in propaganda and political announcements with the intention of irritating the opposing faction[9][10].

The conflict in Kashgar became a turning point as it drove the TCP and AEU into direct opposition. Tibet grew concerned about a potential invasion from Arstotzka and sought assistance from the AEU, leading to the deployment of American defensive troops in Tibet. In response, Arstotzka began amassing its own forces in Kashgar, interpreting the AEU's actions as hostile. The tension was eventually addressed through the Caruk-Kashgar treaty on January 21st, 2022, but this incident exemplified the overall volatility of the time. Subsequently, citizens of Tibet initiated an insurrection against at-the-time leader Bepis, joining Arstotzka instead. This led the AEU to suspect Arstotzkan involvement in funding the rebellion. Bepis sought refuge in Texas, where temporary leadership was granted due to Matt's departure from the region a few weeks earlier, but after some time, Bepis lost interest and ultimately left Texas altogether. Tiki (Sugaravel) once again took on the role of the governor of Texas on February 7th.

TCP war plans and the dox incident

On February 21st 2022, U.S. President AndrejFish received a secret message from an anonymous account named "amogus". He had been provided with top-secret information which revealed that the TCP was planning a full-blown invasion against the AEU in the near future. This revelation shocked the AEU, as they had never actually planned any invasion themselves, and hoped that the UASR would refrain from such actions as well.

In response to the alarming information, AndrejFish promptly gathered all AEU leaders, including American government officials, and shared the plan with them. The AEU knew they were at a significant disadvantage in both military and economic size compared to the TCP, and so immediately began preparing extensive defensive strategies. The TCP, noticing increased militarization in Lithuania, suspected the presence of American spies and began cracking down on perceived infiltrators. Simultaneously, the AEU examined the photos provided by "amogus" and identified that "amogus" was actually run by LordNikster, at-the-time leader of the Brazilian church and the main advisor of Brazil's leader NikolaSkidac. AndrejFish contacted Nikster directly, and he admitted. He then started to directly cooperate with AEU leaders, revealing all secret TCP government channels.

With the TCP aware that the AEU had access to their plans, the AEU opted to approach the situation peacefully. On February 23rd, President AndrejFish announced the TCP's war plans in the UN, exposing the facade of the TCP as a development alliance and warning nations to distance themselves from it. The AEU also made the plans public, publishing them in what is now one of the most famous editions of the "The Nightly Times" newspaper.

Despite calls from some Arstotzkan and TCP leaders to proceed with the invasion, UASR leader Proto and his main advisor Rimeyy chose to pursue peace. Proto stated that their ultimate goal was a non-toxic environment that promoted enjoyment for all[11].

Peace talks began, but behind the scenes, the TCP remained intent on eliminating the AEU. Still unaware of Nikster's role as a spy, the TCP continued with their plans. However, on March 25th, one of the most heinous crimes in NightRealm history occurred when several TCP leaders (Dudili of the UASR/Sweden, Nikola of Brazil, DrGamer of Pontus, among others), "brutally" doxxed DrMarmot and threatened him with a lot of sensitive information. LordNikster, still part of the group, screenshotted all of this and provided all evidence to the NightRealm administration, leading to the permanent ban of the individuals involved.

Outrage ensued. TCP and the UASR were massively flamed by AEU members, neutral nations, and even some TCP citizens. Proto faced worldwide criticism because he failed to prevent the doxxing incident, and although he disagreed with it, he tried to "sweep it under the rug"[12]. Many Arstotzkans were perceived as downplaying its severity, with others even openly supporting it. Following the banning of the doxxers, Proto announced the dissolution of the TCP.

Post-TCP Era

Despite TCP's dissolution, the U.S. was engaged in several important conflicts against Arstotzka. After Dudili got banned, 111 assumed the position of regional governor of Sweden. In June 2022, he made the decision to declare independence from the UASR, and held a referendum that the Arstotzkans considered illegitimate and illegal, leading to the Swedish War for Independence on June 8th 2022. In support of Sweden's bid for independence, the U.S. and several other AEU members decided to defend the nation in the war. Despite being outnumbered four to one, the handful of Arstotzkan defenders emerged victorious. Nevertheless, even in victory, they chose to grant 111 his independence, resulting in Sweden seceding from the UASR.

The U.S.'s involvement in the conflict played a crucial role, and the decision (along with constant flaming from the global community) contributed to the UASR members' decision to resign from their positions. On June 9th, Proto formally resigned from the position of the Leader of the UASR. ToxicMox became the supreme leader of the UASR, in what was the first-ever change in Arstotzkan leadership. Subsequently, a heavy economic recession in Arstotzka occurred, and the U.S. surpassed Arstotzka in economic size for the first time in months. This marked the official end of the cold war.

This event coincided with the beginning of a remarkable economic boom within the U.S., with America (and AEU) dominating the global economy ever since.

Under the Tung administration, on March 29th 2022, the state of California was fully annexed by the U.S. and brought under the federal government's leadership due to the inactivity of Californian leaders. Additionally, on June 22nd, 2022, Disqsted created Illinois, joining the U.S. as America's seventh and last state.

While the UASR (and Proto) ended up returning to the global scene several months later, the U.S. had established good relations with Arstotzka by that time, marking a significant shift in diplomatic ties between the two nations.

New Era

Since the end of the cold war, the U.S. experienced a continuous economic boom, solidifying its position as a global superpower. The admission of Illinois into the nation, the massive developments in New York and California, and the thriving population and activity in Texas further strengthened the country's economic output and development. Chicago ended up becoming one of the most highly developed cities in the U.S. since then, on par with New York and surpassing Richmond/DC.

However, in December 2022, internal disagreements within America led Disqsted to plan an insurrection against the American government. Disqsted formed an alliance with several foreign nations, including Bulgaria, Sweden, Japan, Iceland, Germany, Poland, Scotland, and Anticosti, creating the Central Powers Alliance. This alliance intended to invade the AEU and several other nations, which potentially included Arstotzka. In response, the AEU and UASR formed a coalition and declared war on all involved nations, including Illinois. However, no war was fought on U.S. soil, and a peaceful resolution was reached through a meeting between Disqsted and AndrejFish. This resulted in the signing of the Treaty of New Germany, addressing Disqsted's concerns and ensuring that no such resurrection could ever happen again in Illinois.

The Central Wars also saw American involvement in Europe, with Lithuania annexing most of Poland, while Sweden and Bulgaria became part of Arstotzka. In January 2023, some former Central Powers members such as Germany, Scotland, and Poland, unified and formed the Prussian Empire. Relations between the Prussian Empire and the U.S. became strained as Prussia perceived the AEU (and the U.S.) as imperialistic. The U.S. supported the AEU's decision to expel Germany in November 2022 on the accusation of Nazism, further worsening relations.

Disqsted, who got appointed Vice President under Tiki's administration on December 26th 2022, even leaked some internal confidential U.S. Senate (and AEU) information to Prussians, which resulted in him being impeached and considered a traitor by many Americans. Illinois Senator Plant had also been a subject of controversy as he assassinated Lithuanian leader LiTzo in January 2023 and tried to lie about it in court. Both the UN Court and the U.S. Supreme Court declared him guilty in a now controversial series of court cases, in which he was defended by both Prussians and Disqsted. Still, Plant had since then become the leader of the United States Department of Homeland Security, and became one of America's biggest contributors.

Eventually, peace and cooperation were achieved between the AEU and Prussia. The VinterKnox Agreement was signed between Prussia, America, Arstotzka and Norway on June 21st, leading to a relatively peaceful era until the Latium-Roman War on July 9th 2023. In this war the U.S. was directly engaged in conflict with Arstotzka and Prussia, leading to several days of heavy tensions unseen since the TCP era. The U.S. and the AEU even declared a temporary travel ban on Arstotzkan and Prussian citizens for the first time in years (read the article for more info). However, peace was once again reached on July 15th after a peace meeting between Arstotzkan and American representatives.

All across 2023 the U.S. government saw massive reforms, with many new ministries and branches of government created. In June, California saw a massive surge in development as 5 large skyscrapers were constructed overnight, and in July 2023 the U.S. hit a massive milestone after successfully claiming all American land east of the Mississippi river. Today, the U.S. stands at first place in economy size, territory size, and is third in wealth per capita.

Government and politics

The United States is a confederation of 7 states, one federal district, and two territories. Its government is a constitutional, representative, parliamentary democracy with some elements of a presidential democracy. Its main governing body is the U.S. Senate. The nation is technically not fully democratic, as each state has the right to choose how it will elect its representatives, and many state leaders choose to appoint their representatives by hand. To combat this, the United States Citizen Party was formed in June 2021, whose members are regularly elected democratically through National Senate Elections.

The federal government comprises three branches, which are headquartered in Washington, D.C. and regulated by a system of checks and balances defined by the Constitution.

  • The U.S. Senate, a unicameral legislature, made up of State representatives and the democratically elected Citizen Party
  • The U.S. President, serving as the leader of the /nation and the commander-in-chief of the military; can veto legislative bills before they become law (subject to congressional override), and appoints the members of national ministries/agencies
  • The U.S. Supreme Court, whose judge is appointed via the approval of citizens; they host all national court cases and overturn laws that they find unconstitutional.

The President serves a three-month term and can serve an unlimited number of terms. The President is not elected by direct vote, but by an indirect electoral college system in which the determining number of votes are apportioned to the states and the District of Columbia. According to the U.S. Constitution, this is because the population sizes of states can vary by a lot, and in order to prevent one group of people from manipulating the votes in their favor due to inactive citizens, the United States "shall not use a direct democracy system".

The U.S. Constitution serves as the country's supreme legal document, establishing the structure and responsibilities of the federal government and its relationship with the individual states. The Constitution has been amended two times so far.

The Federal Laws are the main legal code in the U.S. Each state has full rights to create laws and make decisions within its own borders, as long as they do not override existing federal laws.

Throughout its history, the U.S. has so far been led by only two political parties - the Democratic Party (formerly known as the Social Liberal Party) and the People's National Party. Some opposition parties include the Bulls Party, the Republican Party, and the Real American Bruddas.

The U.S. has had eight presidential elections and five leadership transitions so far.

Political subdivisions

Governance within the United States is heavily decentralized. The American federal government works alongside state governments, and many state leaders are simultaneously appointed as ministers.

On top of regular state divisions defined by an official claim, states can also be subdivided into counties or county equivalents. Counties are administrative divisions of states with their own local leadership, and so far, there is only one county in America, that being the Florica County in Virginia.

United States citizenship is granted to those who are part of the American /nation, and it is subject to AEU citizenship laws. The U.S. shares a common passport system with all AEU member states. All mainland American citizens have the right to vote in both senate and presidential elections. Citizens of overseas territories and those who did not register their residence in any state are unable to vote.

The U.S. currently has six ministries, those being:

1) Department of Defense - Junoex (Toni)

2) Department of Foreign Affairs - AndrejFish

3) Department of Urban Development - Disqsted

4) Department of Health and Human Services - Cauli

5) Department of Homeland Security - LolzplayzYT (Plant)

6) Department of Justice / Supreme Court - ThatRandomSeal

Foreign relations

The Department of State, formerly known as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is responsible for leading American foreign relations. Foreign relations are typically overseen by the President, who conducts meetings and issues official announcements both domestically and in the United Nations . Consequently, it is not uncommon for the President to be personally appointed as the leading minister in the Department of State.

The United States formally recognizes all UN-recognized countries and maintains official relations with over 20 UN member states. As of July 2023, the U.S. has established embassies in 16 different nations.

New York City has been the headquarters of the United Nations since its inception. In June 2023, the new UN headquarters were constructed northeast of NYC, and so the city currently serves as the seat of the United Nations Secretariat Building and the United Nations General Assembly. This modern facility symbolizes the continued efforts of New York City in both international diplomacy and peacekeeping efforts.

Today, the U.S. is a formal member of the Atlantic Economic Union, the Cross-Atlantic Union, INTERPOL, and the VinterKnox Agreement. Its main allies include Canada, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Norway, Macedonia, Finland, and the Occitan Republic. Through the VinterKnox agreement, the U.S. has a non-aggression pact signed with both the UASR and the Prussian Empire, which lasts until October 20th 2023. In South America, the U.S. has favorable relations with Colombia and the Cisplatina Confederation, while in Asia, Americans have established good ties with both Maharlika and Japan.

Military, law enforcement, and crime

The President is the commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces. The General of the U.S. Military is appointed by the President, and the General also serves as the head of the Department of Defense, headquartered in Virginia. The U.S. Military is comprised of three branches, which are made up of the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. The United States military budget is currently unknown.

Military service in the U.S. is fully optional, and forced conscription is prohibited by the Constitution. In July 2023, the U.S. Military reported 16 official full-time soldiers. The U.S. has several military bases nationwide, and two official bases abroad - one land base in Norway and one naval port in Lithuanian Gibraltar. The U.S. Military is generally viewed as one of the strongest in the world, showing their success on the battlefield numerous times. So far, the U.S. has participated in 14 wars (either directly or via volunteers), out of which it has lost only 2 (both against the UASR). The American-Arstotzkan practice raids in 2021 ended up with a close American victory of 3-2.

The U.S. Navy created the world's first movable Ship Technology in 2021, and has used them in Naval operations ever since. It has a total fleet of six LTC-s, corvettes, destroyers and aircraft carriers stationed in the ports of American cities. The Air Force has conducted operations in many wars, and maintains air defense across the United States, while also providing air support to the Army's ground forces.

The Coast Guard and the American Police are administered by the Department of Homeland Security. All Police members are also members of the Military, so they are otherwise able to conduct military operations if needed. The U.S. Police has successfully conducted over ten major operations since its creation, and they cooperate heavily with the U.S. Military, able to conduct each other's operations interchangeably.

In the now-defunct crime index leaderboard, the U.S. was generally viewed as one of the more safe nations, with a crime index of roughly 0.10 to 0.25 depending on the date. In May 2023, it was ranked 5th out of 11 nations in terms of safety. The most commonly reported crime in the U.S. has been murder, and the leading cause of homicide in the U.S. has been through firearms.

Economy

According to the economy calculation leaderboard, the U.S. wealth in July 2023 sits at $794,980, the largest of any country in the world, constituting over 37% of the world's product at purchasing power parity. From 2022 to 2023, U.S. monthly GDP growth was 19.2%, spanning a total growth of 230%. The country's wealth per capita sits at around $12,000, ranking it third globally. The U.S. has been the world's largest economy since June 2022.

New York City is the nation's principal financial center, with the largest economic output, and the epicenter of the principal American metropolitan economy.

As of July 2023, the U.S. had a total of seven officially registered companies, with six of them being privately owned. Among these registered companies, 50% were retail stores, while 33% were food, beverage, and leisure companies. However, this data does not account for unregistered companies not owned by major corporations, such as regional unregistered gas stations spread across New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

The largest company in terms of size is ApemanCo, which was formerly a state-owned enterprise. ApemanCo owns ten retail stores, with six of them located outside of America. Additionally, the company owns three restaurants, over four cafes, and several hotels. The nation's oldest company, Delta Corps, is today one of the richest with a company net worth of at least $25,000. It is led by ThatRandomSeal, and specializes in the sale of various exotic animals. BobarCo is a beverage company with a global presence, operating in almost all major nations worldwide, despite being relatively small in size.

Other notable companies in the U.S. include USOil (which serves as America's largest gas provider), Nightly Times Corporate (which is America's state-owned and the world's most famous media entity), Architecture Internacional Designs, and Moonsoft.

The largest U.S. trading partners are members of the Atlantic Economic Union, especially Kazakhstan and Lithuania. Since its foundation, the U.S. has donated at least $52,000 to other AEU members via the AEU budget program. It also sees significant trade with the UASR, Prussia, Canada, and other major nations.

Economic system and distribution

The U.S. has a libertarian economic system with very few market restrictions and zero taxes. Despite that, the nation is a welfare state, as a lot of the wealth is state-owned and there is a lot of economic output by the federal government. As of July 15th 2023, over half of the nation's wealth was owned by citizens of New York, with Texas and California following behind after seeing a huge economic boom. Illinois endured a massive drop in economic size as the leadership spent tens of thousands on expanding their claim.

Share of total wealth as of July 2023.

  Texas (16.48%)
  California (9.87%)
  Illinois (8.7%)

  Michigan (5.12%)
  Washington, D.C. (1.06%)

Historically, the U.S. economy was predominantly comprised of privately owned companies. An economic calculation conducted by the U.S. government in November of 2021 determined that the nation had roughly $130,732 in wealth, out of which 50.1% was owned by private companies. Inequality was high, with 72% of all wealth located in New York. FatAmerican alone owned 31% of all wealth, while the net worth of the entire New York government added up to only 22.6%. The share was followed by Bobby at 11.7% and Seal at 7.3%.

However, following the beginning of the economic boom in June 2022 and the introduction of new economic policies, the situation started to change. In May 2023 the share of New York's wealth dropped to 62%, and in July it stood at only 53.25%.

The NYC Wealth Fund created by the government in 2023 funds salaries, stimulus checks, and ensures constant free food, tools, clothes, vehicles and healthcare for all citizens in its jurisdiction (New York, Pennsylvania, California, and Texas). At its peak, the federal government had a budget of over $200,000 in plain cash. The nation spent over $60,000 on expanding the claims in Texas in Virginia, with another $40,000 spent by Illinois leader Disqsted on Californian and Illinois claim expansions.

On December 8th 2023 the U.S. reached an economy size of $1,000,000, being the first country in the world to do so.

Transportation

The U.S. is home to six major highways. The biggest and most well-known one is the U.S. Interstates 95 and 10 (one road, two numbers, previously just Interstate Highway), a four-lane freeway which is the first of its kind in the world. Illinois is renown for its high-quality road infrastructure, with the U.S. Superior Highway that connects Illinois and Canada being constructed in less than a week. The expressway between Texas and LA features the world's longest highway tunnel, which is 918m long. Houston is a major transport center, connecting the east and west coast of the USA, as well as there being a road to Mexico and Colombia planned for the future.

The U.S. owns the North American spawn, which it holds under a special internationally-recognized jurisdiction. The spawn is connected to Texas and Virginia via the Interstates 10 and 95.

The world's first major subway system was built in America, with the U.S. subway system connecting Canada to New York, Washington D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Illinois.
